Art has been a part of my life since I was young. My career as an artist, graphic designer and architect has enriched my experiences and allowed me to explore creative, relational and human fields. The need to understand and transform my own wounds and traumas led me to a profound therapeutic process. Therefore, I discovered art therapy and got trained as an art therapist at the Faculty of Psychology at Jean Jaurès University in Toulouse.

I then immersed myself in psychotrauma and specialised in this wide topic. After my study, my vision and understanding of early trauma profoundly broadened.

This new understanding revealed to me the specific motivation behind my practice: to help children and their parents, young people and adults to work through their traumatic experiences through art therapy and other specific tools.

This has led me to engage in continuous learning process, immersing myself in expert books, taking part on conferences and training courses to enrich my experience as a therapist.

During my work as a teacher, I learned that it is essential to respect and to listen to children and adults with their behavior, even if it is ‘typical’ or ‘atypical’. Everyone has a profound need to feel confidence and security.

Thanks to this trust, we can work together to shed light on your situation, your emotions and your abilities, often been set aside. We work together on them to understand and nurture them. During my work with young people or adults in difficulty, I work with trust, listening, joy, curiosity and my intuition.

Being listened to is so essential for everyone as well as to be able to express themselves in a respected surrounding, feeling to be accepted and understood.

The CHAKRACTIVO Association

We created the Chakractivo Association in 2017 to have a solid foundation on which we carry out all our activities. Our status as an association allows us to receive donations from people who share our vision and want to support our work, so that we may  offer prices and rates that are within the means of everyone. The name refers to the ‘active’ mode of the body’s energy centers, called ‘chakras’ in Sanskrit. When they function harmoniously, the human being is in balance. We wish this balance for the people around us and for ourselves too.
